COLD WATER IMMERSION
Cold water immersion is a kind of
hydrotherapy that provides many health benefits. It differs from thermal soaking in that the overall after effect is one of natural
warmth. The length of time to immerse in cold water depends on
instinct, intelligence and inspriation.
Equip yourself with: A Robe, Footwear, Towel,
Quality water to drink, Natural Bristle Dry Brush
Begin with dry brushing from your feet
upwards to exfoliate the skin and flush blood to skin surface.
Cleanse your mouth. Hydrate.
Quickly submerge in cold water. One may experience
hyper-ventilation. You can increase your endurance by swimming or pacing in place.
Remain in water up to 3 minutes or until you have exercised.
DO NOT CHILL.
Get out of the water and wrap in
a robe to warm. REST. One may return to the water several
times. Always finish by warming RESTING.
